ASI Currently Has Openings for:

Spacecraft Test Engineering

Work in a small company environment to support large company projects involving the Integration and Test of Spacecraft for NASA Space Missions. The work will include supporting a major spacecraft program that is currently in the Integration and Test phase, scheduled for Launch in the 2018/2019. Strong engineering skills including skills in c/Perl/TCL/Python programming and knowledge of Unix/Linux in a distributed computing architecture is required.

Ideal candidate will possess engineering and software skills and some background in overall spacecraft systems engineering. Job will include development of test procedures, test support products, test execution in a both lab and flight-hardware environments, troubleshooting and documenting both software and hardware issues during test execution. Candidate must have strong communication skills, ability to follow Test Conductor direction and collaborate with a small test team. Experience in testing of hardware/software interfaces at the system level is a plus. Familiarity with real-time operating systems, timing analyses, telemetry encoding/decommutation/extraction is a plus.

Requires Bachelor’s in Engineering or Computer Science, plus two years of related experience.

Required skill set: Unix/Linux, TCP/IP networking, c/perl/TCL/Python.

Desired skill set: familiar with spacecraft terminology, familiar with spacecraft command and telemetry processing, familiar with the Harris OS/Comet Ground System is a plus.

Travel to Kennedy Space Center, Florida will be required.

US Citizenship, background check, and drug test is required.

Spacecraft Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineer

Work in a small company environment to develop spacecraft Attitude Determination and Control Subsystems. Depending upon experience tasks may include all facets of the engineering life cycle including: spacecraft concept and requirements development, subsystem requirements development, detailed control loop and/or estimator analysis and design, ADCS hardware component selection, ADCS software development, subsystem integration & test(I&T), and spacecraft I&T. Applications may include small LEO spacecraft, interplanetary spacecraft, or guidance, navigation & rendezvous systems. Programming experience in MATLAB/SIMULINK & C desired.

Software Engineer

Ideal candidate will possess software engineering skills coupled with a systems engineering perspective. Software engineering skills may include software development, software requirements derivation/verification, or IV&V. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are required. Preferred experience includes creation of scripts for manipulation of data in c/perl and the use of UNIX (Solaris) and/or Linux operating systems. Experience in testing of hardware/software interfaces at the system level is a plus. Familiarity with real-time operating systems, timing analyses, Telemetry encoding/decommutation/extraction is a plus. Requires Bachelor’s in Engineering or Computer Science, plus two years of related experience. Solaris, TCP/IP networking, C & Perl programming desired. U. S. Citizenship required.

.NET UX Designer/Developer

Experience: 3-5 Years
